Contracts are used in K12 school districts to manage and track employee
employment records and drive an employee's pay for the contract year. This
file contains the Employee Contract Base Assignment record defined by an
employee's position.

CCT-EFFECT-DATE Element: Effect Date | Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd) The Effect Date will default from the Work Schedule's Work Start Date. A Pay Rate Change to the current Position will create a new contract segment for the employee contract master with a new Effect Date that aligns to the employee's position Effect Date. If the employee's Position Code and/or Work Schedule changes, a new Contract Master is created with a new Effect Date. The Work Start and End Date Range is used to count work days for the contract payout calculations. |

CCT-PAY-GRADE Element: Pay Grade | Alpha 3 The PAEMPPOS Grade will default to the contract and be displayed on the contract header. If the pay grade changes and the employee remains in the same the position, a new contract segment will be created with a new effective date for the new pay grade. |

CCT-RIGHT Element: Right | Alpha 10 A contract right is defined as a user defined PCODE and may be assigned to an employee's contract record. Rights are used to identify what contracts need to be reviewed and an example would be short term contract, permit holder, or long-term substitute. |

CCT-GROUP Element: Group | Alpha 15 A contract group is used for grouping contract records together for reporting purposes. |

CCT-PAY-CODE Element: Pay Code | Alpha 4 The pay code is defined on the contract rule and will default to the employee's contract master and can be overidden. The pay code will be used for the time records generated for the employee contract payout. |
