Activity Resource Assignment
This file contains resource assignment information from AC03.2 (AC Person Assignment), AC03.3 (HR Employee Assignment), AC03.4 (Vendor Assignment), AC03.5 (Asset Assignment), and AC03.6 (Equipment Assignment). It includes resource codes, their descriptions, and the assignment of resources to activities and activity groups. The resources must have been defined already in AC03.1 (Resource), HR11.1 (Employee), AM20.2 (Additions and Adjustments), or AP10.1 (Vendor).

AAN-COMPANY Element: Company | Numeric 4 Key field. Required for resource types Employee and Vendor. This is the company number for this assignment. If you leave this field blank, it defaults to the activity responsible company. |

AAN-EMPLOYEE-ASSET Element: Employee | Numeric 10 This field is required for Employee and Asset resource types. It allows you to establish a relationship with the Employee and Asset files for Drill Around and selects. |

AAN-DESCRIPTION Element: Resource Description | Alpha 30 (Lower Case) Required. This is the description of the resource. If you leave this field blank, the description defaults from the Resource Source file. |

AAN-TO-COMPANY Element: Company | Numeric 4 Identifies the AP company if the resource type = V. Identifies the HR company if the resource type = E. It is blank for type A, P or Q resources. |

AAN-ACCT-UNIT Element: Acct Unit | Alpha 15 The accounting unit is a shorthand notation representing the variable level number. When used in the General Ledger Account Master file, the accounting unit must be defined in the General Ledger Names file as a posting accounting unit. |

AAN-ACCOUNT Element: Account | Numeric 6 This field along with the accounting unit and subaccount make up the location (account) where amounts and other account information is stored. |
