BN00.3 - COBRA Occurrence Types
Use COBRA Occurrence Types (BN00.3) to define occurrences, or qualifying
events. An occurrence is an event that allows an employee or the employee's
qualified beneficiaries to continue benefit coverage.
Examples of an occurrence include divorce, separation, death, termination,
reduction in working hours, or a dependent whose age that exceeds the plan
definition of a dependent.

You can assign standard letters to occurrence types. A standard letter
is a letter that you want sent to people on a regular basis. For example,
a letter to notify an employee of his or her rights under COBRA. The standard
letter is defined in BN05 (Standard Letter).
