ZE532 - Pos Mgr Master List Interface
This program creates the following Position Master List files:
Facility (POSMGRFAC)
Department (POSMGRDEP)
Hiring Mgr (POSMGRSUP)
Position (POSMGRPOS)
Requisition (POSMGRREQ)
With the exception of Reqs, each extract includes active and inactive records. The file extraction logic is pretty straightforward with the following exceptions:
POSMGRSUP - This extract is driven by HR07 supervisors. Since an employee could occupy more than one HR07 code we must filter the results and send each employee only once.
POSMGRPOS - The job description field is extracted from the JOBDESC file. JOBDESC is maintained in an Access database... after maintenance the user can export the file from Access and transmit it to Unix, where it can be accessed by this program.
