IC46.1 - Inventory Status
Use Inventory Status (IC46.1) to view summarized inventory. It can be
used to view the product mix that is in the current inventory. When youinquire
on IC46.1, the form IC46.2 will display.
Inventory mix is essential to proactively managing materials within
the organization. This report can also be used in place of the printed Period
End Valuation (IC234) to get a quick view of inventory values, especially
for the company using average costing. This program uses average cost for
items in inventory to quickly present totals.
**Processing Effect
The company is the only required field to be entered on this form. If
only the company is entered, the subtotals will be at the Locations level.
NOTE The locations are only inventory locations and does not include
Par or Cart locations.
Consignment items may be included, excluded, or the report only run
for Consignment. This offers a very quick way of getting a valuation forconsignment
items. Inactive items may be included, excluded, or run only for inactive
for the valuations. This is helpful for getting a quick valuation of inactive
items that may still be in inventory. A percentage is offered for eachsubtotals
grouping.
After the company is entered, additional criteria may be entered to
subtotal by Classes, Manufacturer's Codes, UNSPSC, or the User Fields. Most
of the additional criteria are of a hierarchal nature. This allows you to
choose which level of the hierarchy you need totals for.
