IC15.2 - Bins
Use Bins (IC15.2) to set up bins. Bins represent a level of storage
that exists within a company location such as areas, racks, shelves, androws.

Bin tracking is optional in the Inventory Control application and is
assigned at the item location level in IC12.1 (Item Location) or IC10.2 (Item
Master and Location). If an item is set up for bin tracking, a bin must be
specified for every transaction, such as issues or receipts, which you enter
for the item.
If you set up bins, you can optionally assign bin usage types and storage
codes. Bin usage types, defined in IC01.3, restrict issues and receipts.Storage codes, defined in IC15.1, define physical bin limitations. After bins are set up, you can optionally set up bin groups in IC15.3 (Bin Groups).
