ABC-METHOD Element: Method | Alpha 10 This is the depreciation method. It can be a predefined or a user-defined method. |

ABC-INSRV-DATE Element: In-Service Date | Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd) This is the in-service date for the asset. NOTE The in-service date can be different for each depreciation book used. |

ABC-METH-TABLE-YR Element: Method Table Year | Numeric 2 This field indicates what year of its life an asset is in. Various tables use this year in their calculations. |

ABC-CONVENTION Element: Convention | Alpha 2 This is the convention for depreciation calculation. |

ABC-LIFE-YEARS Element: Life Years | Signed 5.2 This is the total life value of the asset, expressed in years. If you leave this field blank, the system computes asset life in years based on the Life field, which contains asset life in months. |

ABC-DEPR-YTD Depreciation Year-to-Date | Signed 18.2 This is the year-to-date depreciation amount for this book. This amount includes only the business use, not the personal use, portion of the depreciation. |

ABC-DEPR-YTD-ALLOW Depreciation YTD Allowed | Signed 18.2 This is the year-to-date depreciation allowed for the book. This amount is equivalent to the full depreciation, including business and personal use. |

ABC-BUS-PERCENT Element: Business Percent | Signed 5.2 This is the business usage percentage for the asset. If the percentage is less than 100%, this is the value to be used during depreciation calculations. If this field is left blank in the asset record, the system assumes 100%. |

ABC-PERSONAL-USE Element: Personal Use | Alpha 10 Personal use is a name for depreciation limits defined to account for personal use of an asset. When an asset has a personal use code, the Asset Management system uses those limits in the depreciation calculations. |

ABC-YR1-EXP Element: First Year Expense | Signed 18.2 This is the new first year expense amount. It represents the amount to expense for the First Year Expense option. This U.S. tax option allows you to expense and not depreciate a total dollar amount for the assets of each eligible company. |

ABC-TC-TABLE Element: Tax Credit Table | Alpha 10 This is the tax credit table for the asset. |
|
||
ABC-TC-PROPERTY Element: Tax Credit Property | Signed 18.2 If the tax credit is to be taken for used property, the amount that qualifies for the tax credit appears in this field. |

||
ABC-TAX-CREDIT Element: Tax Credit | Signed 18.2 This is the amount of tax credit taken for this asset. |
|
||
ABC-INS-METHOD Element: Insurance Method | Alpha 10 This is the method used to compute the insurance value of the asset. |

ABC-INS-ACT-VAL Insurance Actual Value | Signed 18.2 This is the actual insurance value of the asset. |

ABC-INS-CMPTD-VAL Insurance Computed Value | Signed 18.2 This is the insurance value for the asset, computed using the asset's insurance method. |

ABC-RPL-METHOD Element: Replace Method | Alpha 10 This is the method used to compute the replacement value of the asset. |
