Alias Table
The Alias Table (ALIASTABLE) file stores the definition for each alias table. All member alias names must be associated with an alias table. Using multiple alias tables allows a member to have a unique alias name. The information in this file comes from IA12.3 (Alias Table).

ALI-ALIAS-TABLE Element: Alias Table Name | Alpha 8 (Lower Case) The Alias Table field contains the name of the table that contains member alias names. You use the Essbase Application Manager to define alias tables. You can use the Analytic Architect system to define an alias name to associate with a member. These alias names become part of the alias table. The alias table must be defined for a specific application and data mart. This field can be left blank. All member aliases applied to the blank alias table name are associated to the default alias table defined by the data mart. |
