The Retro Labor Distribution files (GMRETDIST and GMRETDISTX) are templates
that store distribution splits used for after-the-fact labor cost transfers.
These templates drive changes to labor cost distributions during Labor Cost
Transfer Processing (GM170). This allows users to reverse distributions that
were in effect at the time payroll was processed and reapply new distributions
based on after-the-fact time studies, effort certification, funding changes
and so on.
