BN729 - ACA Offers Eligibility CSV

Use the new ACA Offers Eligibility CSV (BN729) to compile past benefit offersdata in the BNACAOFFER table. The utility uses the employee's benefit enrollments during the designated date range to reconstruct offers. It is recommended that the end user analyzes the ACA Offers Eligibility CSV for accuracy and missing data, since changes in the system during the year could possibly cause the loss of offer visibility for an employee. There are two report options to assist in the analysis process; ACA Offers Eligibility CSV Report - displays employee offers that could berecreated based on benefit enrollments in the system. ACA Offers Exception CSV Report - Employees are displayed on the exceptionreport (BN729) because the system only has the enrollment record and was unable to capture any other additional offers since visibility of the offers was lost (terminated, no longer in employee group, etc). Even though the employee is displayed on the exception report, this does not mean that there should not be offers in the system for the employee. It is just a way for the system to set the employees apart from those employees whose offers were ableto be compiled. The exception report is a reporting tool that the end user can use todetermine if the enrollment record displayed on the exception report was the "best offer" or has an offer code that won't result in an IRS penalty for the organization. The end user can use the Create Exception CSV as a starting point for editing, adding additional offers and importing into BN529. NOTE: At a minimum, only the "best offer" benefit coverage plan and a waiveplan for the employee need to be created for ACA regulatory reporting. BN729 can create output files based on the job parameters selected. Theseoutput files will be found in the user's print directory. These offers can be viewed in ACA Offers (BN29.1) or in ACA Offers report(BN229) upon update. NOTE: ACA Benefit Offers processing is independent of ACA Benefit Hoursprocessing, so they can be worked concurrently.
