Run Canadian G L Liability Posting (TA196) to update the General Ledger
with the dollar amounts of vacation accruals on a pay period basis or amonthly
basis.
**Processing Effect
If you select 1 (Pay Period/Non-Reversing) in the Transaction Type field,
the employee accrues for the current pay period only. If the employee has
lost dollars in the pay period, the the lost dollars are subtracted from the
current accrual dollars to calculate the General Ledger posting amounts.
Transaction Type 2 for Monthly/Reversing will accrue the total ending
balance, which would be the beginning balances, less usage, less lost dollars,
plus the current pay period accrual. This selection works much like TA195
does for the US accruals to GL.
