IC60.3 - Instructions

Use Instructions (IC60.3) to enter the assembly instructions or comments for make-to-order kit items or components defined in IC60.1 (Kit Assembly). Leave the Sequence field blank if you want to enter instructions for an entire kit item. To enter instructions for a component, you must enter the component sequence number in this field. The Inventory Control application assigns line numbers as you enter instruction lines. For maintenance purposes, you can insert new lines between existing instruction lines. Select the form action X and enter the number of lines you want to insert in the line action field. When you perform this action, blank lines are inserted above the line action field. This action creates a new line sequence. Use the line order to indicate the order in which a make-to-order kit is assembled.
