ED40.1 - Data Substitution Table Setup
Use Data Substitution Table Setup (ED40.1) during translation when an element of your data must be exchanged for a corresponding value required by the trading partner. Examples include vendor-assigned account numbers, units of measure, and so on. Refer to the Substitution Tables information in Lawson EDIfor Supply Chain Management Trading Partner List for a list of substitution entries needed for each trading partner and transaction type supported.
