ED310 - Purge Transaction History
Unneeded data from the EDI transaction history table should be purged regularly to keep table size to a reasonable minimum and avoid accumulating vast amounts of transaction history.
To purge transaction history
1. Access Purge Transaction History (ED310).
2. Enter a job name and specify the number of days' worth of data you want to keep.
ED310 will purge all transaction history data older than the number of days specified and write the purged data to
LAWDIR/applicationproductline/edi/purged/EDHISTRANS.ccyymmddhhmmss
This is a comma-delimited file that can be backed up on other media and can bereloaded into EDHISTRANS if it should ever be needed again.
