ED04.1 - Query Event History
Use Query Event History (ED04) to view general information about EDI event history.
Lawson EDI stores EDI event history in the EDEVENT (Unix/Windows) or DBEDEDE (System i) database table. Event history is the general information about an EDI event: whether a file was inbound or outbound, and the date and time that processing began, whether a communication was requested, and so on. This information is stored by the connection ID (each EDI event has a connection ID) in the EDEVENT (Unix/Windows) or DBEDEDE (System i) database table.
The contents of this table are viewable using Query Event History Log (ED04.2)
To view event history
1. Access ED04.1
2. Select a connection ID and Inquire. A summary of the event is displayed.
3. Click the View Logs link.
A detailed account of what transpired during the session is displayed. This information includes the location of archived files, logs, and so on.
