Microsoft Cloud-First Push Shines In CRM, Lags In ERP
The CRM Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, has had over 40 quarters of double-digit growth, according to Microsoft. However, the Dynamics ERP sector is still not at it’s maturity to offer a production-ready public cloud offering. Microsoft technician Michael Ehrenberg explains the hold up being the ongoing work on a “Premium Storage option backed by fast drives and streamlined data access that will ensure fast performance within service-level agreements.” It may be that Microsoft is already successful in their CRM and marketing applications that ERP is still in the back burner, though Microsoft should consider pushing their ERP application since these days, having a solid ERP system is viable for a good company’s overall business strategy.
