Watami Selects Infor as Supply Chain Management Platform
Watami Co., Ltd., a food services company operating over 1,000 restaurants and meal delivery outlets throughout Japan and neighboring Asian counties has selected Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage as its global supply chain management platform. With this partnership, Watami plans to utilize group operations and drive the implementation of its vertical integration model for managing all processes from food production to logistics and sales. The company is shifting focus on enhancing its financial structure through Merchandising (MD) Reform and reconstruction of their supply chain management (SCM) platform. Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage’s flexibility, customization and support is the perfect Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite for this change. Additionally, the highly-reliable Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform through a subscription model will greatly reduce IT investment costs. Watami is currently in the process of migrating its existing systems to Infor Cloudsuite Food & Beverage, expecting full-scale operations in late 2019.
